In 1992, IBM chose to discontinue the Annual Quarter Century Club dinner that honored retirees and employees who had reached the significant milestone of 25 years of service.  The following year, wanting to keep the spirit of those dinners alive, the late Agnes Adams organized the first Annual Dinner of IBM Friends.

In 2017 we reached a milestone with the 25th Annual Dinner of IBM Friends.  Unfortunately, the Dinner has been on hiatus due to the closing of Peters Place restaurant.  There are plans for the dinner’s return in 2020, but the current coronavirus situation will probably delay this until 2021.
